A Concert?
A friend of many years is here just now. He has his own chalet quite close to here but we dont meet too often! He has though found various events I might be interested in later in the year! All sorts of concerts are planned...the pandemic has not seemed to have slowed anything down. Its unlikely I will book anything at this stage...though several concerts have got my interest but I just seem to have little or no interest in most of them. In the past I would have spent a happy morning reading all the information available before rushing out to book. Somehow I am not interested enough just now to do that. All the concerts look promising...in the past I would have booked several events immediatly. This year I cant get enthusiastic enough to bother! Maybe I will get round to it eventually. I am glad it seems to be going ahead though...some wonderful musicians have performed some glorious music . An old Methodist chapel is the venue for this event. It has been cleaned and polished and is always full. So maybe I should just get on with it...but alas I can raise no enthusiasm at all. I will look at it again in a week or so...nearer the time I might feel differently. This feeling of nothing being either interesting or importannt is apathy at its worst! In the past I have experienced it once or twice. It never lasts long...so eventually I will look at it all again. I doubt if all the seats will have gone! But it is just possible I suppose! As it is not scheduled until Autumn there is plenty of time! Lets hope my enthusiasm will return !

Good morning Jean. It’s good to know things such as concerts are being planned. There’s nothing quite like a live event!
If you feel like booking at some point I hope there’s a seat ‘with your name on it’ 😊
These events are planned on a speculative basis, hoping that they will be able to run.
A recent concert I believe in either Wales or Cornwall has yielded at least 5k new infections from the 50k people who attended, presumably having all been tested (supposedly) and having a vaccine passport to show at the door.
It has certainly put me off any such event for the time being.
