Life Alone.

Today my cleaner is due. Thank goodness we shall do more talking than cleaning! Its been a very quiet weekend! Yesterday my latest Tesco delivery arrived. I now have a full fridge again! I am amazed at the joy this brought...but small things have assumed an importance they never have before! But this morning when I opened the fridge to get my milk out I realised how important it had become to have enough to eat! So I suppose I ought to get the next delivery in the calender! Cornwall is still full of visitors..I am told that the hotel owners are experiencing more enquiries too. People have told me that I could join in...theres plenty of room in my house! I would hate to to have people I dont know staying here and if that makes me anti social I can live with that! Its going to be a long summer! And the weather is not bad either! So my priorities are now clearly evident...enough to eat and drink and people to talk to occaionally! I need to get some washing in the machine this morning..so my life is revolving around the small details of life alone! OK I canndo this!

Actually arrived on the day of the blog.

Being alone is something that you are quite used to, and doesn't seem to bother you. As you say, the small things assume a higher importance than the norm, but they are part of your current pattern of life, which is keeping you remarkably sane and alive. A full fridge, plans for replenishment, a visit from and a natter with your cleaner, more than I have done today.

Jen has gone to work, back on full time five days a week, I have things to do and places to be, but all will revolve around her routine for work every single day. It was much easier when she was only doing two days a week. But I hope that she will decide its time to retire, which would suit both of us.
