Not going anywhere.

I didnt get up late but I have had things to do...which is why this post is very late! My gardener is here.. so I have had a coffee with him and discussed what needs doing at some stage...At the moment I am trying not to look out of the window at the sight of him up a ladder clipping back the high hedge! We have drunk a coffee together and compared notes as to what is happening in the village. It is very over crowded he tells me. I believe him...not being brave enough to tread warily through the visiters just yet! He tells me there are alot of them. I do believe him. So at present I am staying put. So far the memory of what happened last year has stopped me from even phoning down to the local hotel. Last years visit was not a success at all but at some stage another small holiday will be considered...I am not sure what or when! I used to cruise during the Autumn and always enjoyed them. And I see that some of them are starting up again. But as yet I am perfectly happy here. I have just had a phone call from a young man trying to sell me health insurance. He put the phone down when I told him my age! So now I know what to do in future! This is a very strange period we are all living through...but so far so good!
