Tidying up!
Having read yesterdays blog I am looking round my office ..... it still needs to be tidied! I had a busy day yesterday. People drop in! Soon many of them will go home...and we can get back to a sort of normality. I find myself remembering last year now. Instead of going on a cruise I decided to stay local in one of our good hotels. This was not the best idea! Too many people decided I need help! So whatever I decide to do this year I wont be talking about it! Becoming old does not mean you are incapable of doing all the things youve been doing all your life! Old friends here at the moment mean I am not planning anything just yet. The glorious weather means a holiday mood sits firmly on us all. Very old friends turn up, with news of new friendships and new ideas...Here in my old house I am aware of my good fortune. It is old but still in good repair...everything still works! I see whats going on over the water daily! But although several friends try to get me into their boats fairly often I am not tempted! I gave up my old boat years ago..jumping on and off it had become a regular hazard! And as most of my friends try to take me out regularly I know I made the right decision! I enjoy the view looking out over Falmouth...but the urge to join in has gone...Going out to sea has lost its glamour! As long as this glorious weather keeps up people will turn up I know.... I will see old friends during the next few weeks...It is all good...the Autumn beckons... but I will try to tidy my office up a bit first! After writing that my phone rang. Someone offered me a scotch...I would sooner have a coffee!

Having posted that my phone rang. It was someone offering me a scotch! I was given the option of either accepting it or pulling out! Not sure how I could get a scotch via a phone message it seemed safer to pull out . This world just gets weirder!
I hope you find the time to tidy up, but enjoying the weather and visitors might take precedence.
I am with you about boating. I haven't set foot in a dinghy since my Regular service days, which would be about 1989. I had the chance later, but never really appealed.
At least Cornwall seems to be enjoying better weather than us here. We've had a mixture of cold weather, clouds and occasional rain. Feels like Autumn already.
