A holiday?

No sun shines here today....yet! It is much quieter outside than normal too. My gardener told me yesterday that the village was still full but that people have started to go home. I have to go down to the village soon...but mostly to get cash from the machine. He tells me it has been vandalised! Our visitors have not behaved well according to him. So I have a few days before I decide whether to risk it or not! If the weather stays dull some may decide to go. I have no memory of ever having felt like this before! Visiters have always been welcome! But this years bunch have ruined that by the sound of it! Friends here are saying they may go home early this year...and I am thinking about my own holiday. Cruising has started again. I have got several glossy brochures telling me whats available...A sail around the British Isles sounds good to me! Especially if it calls in at some interesting places! The one that goes to Liverpool caught my eye yesterday. As a student I spent alot of time in that city and took my husband there several years ago. Expecting the worst he was astonished and delighted by all the new building, especially both the Cathedrals. I shall wait before making any decisions...I am not in a hurry! Taking an Autumn holiday is very much quieter than one in the summer. Plenty of time to decide!
