Going out!

Another beautiful day and I am trying to persuade myself that I really should go out.....so having more or less made up my mind to go I have checked the post...and I have fresh flowers being delivered at mid day. I cant go now obviously though this afternoon might still be possible! If I am not careful I will become housebound...and I can see that this is becoming easier to accept. It is much too easy not to go out when everything comes to you! And its now much quieter in the village I am told. Alot of traffic is on the road...most of it leaving. So I may get out later...or leave it till next week! So now I have to speak very seriously to myself. I must not become an old woman ...yet! Yesterday I took delivery of a new bottle. ...it was something I had ordered in memory of an extraordinary day in New York when in company with another cruiser we explored the bars for miles around looking for those that only sold Irish whiskey. I cant remember why....but who knew how many Irish pubs there were in New York? Alot! It was a very good day and if my friend is reading this she will be nodding her head vigorously! So today I might go out later...it will depend on whether I have sampled yesterdays delivery because I have often have a glass of something with my lunch at the weekend. But ony one!
