Deep joy

Yesterday I found a whole lot of stuff on my iPad that I hadn't realised I'd got!
It is a testimony to my lack of any skill with the camera on my phone. Usually I just hold it up and click...but occasionally I get it wrong often when the sun is in my eyes. I have to squint and then press the wrong button.....then find I am recording a video rather than a photograph.
I found several of those mistakes in a folder I've never looked at before!
Wow...pure gold.
The best one, the one I treasure was taken at a baby's christening party.
David was its great grandfather...and is leaning over it with pride, its parents also in the shot.
I then heard my voice saying..."Sorry I've pressed the wrong button. It's taking a video."
Laughter all round...but now, to see a video of my darling husband laughing and speaking was an amazing moment...I have no previous recording of his lovely voice so this was an absolute treasure!
I have no idea why I've not found this little group of mistakes before...but I have found some beautiful moments at sea, watching the sun going down...
Arriving in distant far flung cities, the hustle and bustle of strange ports.... views around my garden following my ancient golden Crispin..a rare treasure house of memories taken by mistake. I will keep them safe!

It is always good to poke around in the depths of your computer. I often find things from years ago that I had forgotten. Particularly music, that I downloaded.
