It just goes from bad to worse right now.... I have no idea why....
At the beginning of this cruise I lost a bracelet....I thought it was just mislaid for a while but slowly it has dawned on me that it's gone....absent...not with me any more.
So this afternoon I searched my cabin.
Right at the beginning my steward had said that I'd left it out...and we thought it would turn up.
It hasn't. So I had to act today....time is passing quite quickly now.
I reported it to the admin powers that be.
With admiral speed two people arrived to search my cabin. Very thorough they were...
They didn't find it.
I was sorry about that....it was easier to believe that I'd been more than usually careless.
They are giving me a letter for my insurance company....arghhh
That I don't need. I just want the bracelet back. It was gold, heavy and beautiful.
Damm it....this cruise has had some dreadful moments along with all the others..
Losing small but valuable items has been difficult...
Tomorrow we land in Madeira where I have time share...and a friend...
I hope not to lose anything else, valuable or otherwise...

Not nice to lose or have stolen something precious to you. It's not the value of the item that counts, but the memories shared with it present on your arm.
I hope that it is found, or that the person who is light fingered is caught and your property returned. Surely this is now a police matter??
