Dangers on line!
The emails telling me that my account will be suspended are coming in daily.
Unfortunately one of them this week came in immediately after an invoice from Apple.
As they are telling me there is a difficulty with my account this was particularly bad timing.
Does everyone else get these?
I continue to ignore them and also send them on to Apple as requested..
In the past they used to worry me. Now I mostly just ignore them. But some people must click on the link...or they wouldn’t persist.
Another problem is that Google have changed all sorts of small details on their blogging app.
Leaving comments is now a complicated process...and they no longer inform me if I have a comment that I’ve not read. So yesterday a quick flick backwards revealed several that I hadn’t seen before....
I love the fact that I can talk to people I no longer see regularly, that I have new friends met on line, that I can play games with strangers as well as old friends...
The internet is how I shop, monitor my banking, electricity and phone usage...as well as chat to people I’ve never met with ease.
My Timehop app brings me photos and details of events up to about ten years ago..which is wonderful.
But there are dangers in all of this...
I have unsubscribed from various suspect apps.
But the ease of chatting and playing makes up for several tedious frustrations.
To have this in my old age is a gift.
Thank you God.
