Busy Sunday

No blog this morning due to my hasty rush to get off! We have had a very long day out. Finishing with a long slow drive through New York. On Sunday afternoon the city is out to play.
Chairs in very unlikely positions took advantage of a lovely sunny day. I regret that I had my sun glasses pinched at one point but it wasn’t important....it will teach me not to spread my bits and pieces too far! I just hope that who ever has them "loses" them too...I will recognise them if I see them on board.
I have enjoyed this trip and inevitably my mind is turning to retirement...
The church doesn’t need me any more...so maybe the time has come.....
There is a final feel in the air today.
All exploration is over....we just have to get back across The Atlantic .
It will take us six days! That’s long enough to recover in.
I have made friends here but most of them disembarked this morning...there’s plenty of time to make new ones. And I will. But I do enjoy our sea days, there are interesting lectures and plenty to do during the day....but right now it seems unlikely that we’ll be sun bathing much.
Lots of lectures, lots of unlikely activities. Cunard do not let their elderly passengers sit around too much!
So be it!
