Old age.

I didn’t do yesterday’s tour. I wasn’t unwell I just couldn’t be bothered...
This has been a very different cruising experience for me. I have become an old woman.
My hair has gone a sort of silvery grey. The pain I experienced just before embarking has been with me on and off for the last month. As we have a doctor on our table I have tried to keep quiet about aches and pains...
I don’t need any table talk diagnostics.
Staying in my cabin for longer than usual I have found the American politics on the TV very interesting.
Yesterday for instance I stayed glued to the news yet again, wondering if the sole female senator was going to vote for or against Kavanaugh. She built up her part beautifully.
I will be doing the next tour....we are in New York tomorrow and I am booked on a tour called "Shop till you drop" I’ll try not to!
After New York the next stop is Southampton. Six days at sea sound good to me... I shall enjoy the lectures and the lack of bustle....
Plenty of time to persuade my ancient body that it needs to pull itself together!
