Last week.

Gosh I am tired. But as we are settling down for six days at sea it is actually OK.
Yesterday was exhausting. We went on a trip called, "Shop till you drop."
I was with a lady from my table and it was good to have a companion but we went our separate ways when we got there. In one shop during the morning I had my card refused whilst someone pinched my sun glasses.
Deep confusion so I switched to a different card in order to buy a new pair.
All was well after that but I had learned not to be careless . With no reflexes in my eyes dark glasses are essential so I very carefully bought a new pair from the …"Sun glass shack."
It was not my sort of place. I won’t go again. I could hear David’s voice saying
"It’s not the sort of place people like us shop in. "And it wasn’t!
The really good part of the entire day was being driven though New York on a hot sunny day. The entire city had found ways to bask in the sun...
Back on board, the ship had changed . There are a lot of Germans travelling to Hamburg. The two on our table didn’t know we were stopping in Southampton. They said it was going straight to Hamburg. I do hope they are wrong...by the end of this week I shall be very glad to disembark and get back to Cornwall.
