Stirring music!

The concerts have all been lovely. The last one is this afternoon. Before then we are lunching again at the Tresanton. This will be another treat in a weekend full of them.
Yesterday I was just too tired to go to the evening concert but I’ll be fine today after a good nights sleep.
Small things going wrong after having been painted last week are contributing to more angst than I needed right now....but the end is now in sight .....
The painter found a catch on a little cupboard which I’d never noticed before...so when this morning I went to get a new loo roll out I found it shut....my attempts at releasing the catch have failed....so I’m not yet out of the woods!
After having lived here for over ten years it came as a bit of a shock to find a door refusing to open for me!
Greeting old friends, listening their tales of adventure as well as their woes has made for a busy but lovely weekend.
The music which at times seems almost incidental has also been excellent and sometimes stirring...one man and a grand piano with three fiddlers have made glorious sounds at times.
But it’ll be time to get back to some quiet days next week....
I keep thinking of Christmas cards etc but it’s still only the beginning of November.....plenty of time before I start panicking...I hope....
