No one could be bored by the present state of our politics...it is riveting stuff. But the thing is....it’s not supposed to be entertainment. This is important stuff. Boris as Prime Minister is turning out to be a disaster. He seems to be now promising an election...or should that be threatening an election....no one seems clear on this.
It’s all down to Brexit...I hope all those keen young people who wanted us to leave Europe in order to fulfill their ambitions are enjoying this chaos because I’m not. I voted remain but right now I don’t care if we leave after all if it got us some feeling of stability. Because that’s what we are lacking right now....some quiet peaceful months ahead. Instead we have chaos threatening.
Boris is either promising or threatening an election...if he doesn’t get his own way. It’s like watching a small child screaming at his brothers because he’s had his favourite toys taken off him.
Delaying Brexit sounds good to those of us who voted remain but can we live with the consequences? Who knows the direction this path is taking us? What the rest of the world is making of all this does not bear thinking about! We must be coming over as an immature country unclear of our relationships with either Europe or the rest of the world. Trump must be seeing all this and working out his next move to take advantage of his friend Boris.
Come on chaps....Great Britain must do better than this... we are becoming a laughing stock I imagine. The Conservative Party has voted for Boris to become our Prime Minister. They must have some say in what happens next. But do they?

Last evenings vote points to the end of the Tory Party as we know it. And perhaps the end for Mr Johnson as well.
A general election is now the strongest answer to the questions that Parliament is asking itself, ignoring the rest of us.
I really believe that a new Government is needed, but, not one led by Messrs Corbyn and McDonnel. But a even worse scenario would be a coalition between Tories and Brexit party.
I don't know what is happening behind the scenes, but it is certain that the bill going through parliament will be the crunch. If Boris refuses to present it to the Queen for Royal Assent, than we face a constitutional crisis matching any we've ever had.
Parliament needs reform their are to many MP's and Lords, they cost us millions and the system isn't working. We also need proportional representation as that works in Wales, Scotland (and partially in NI) so why don't we do that for the whole country.
Deep change needed to give all people and communities a vote that can change things for the better.
