Oh dear!

It’s dark, raining and windy outside. Not inviting weather at all. So I’m not attempting to go out today. If I have to get help to start my car it had better be tomorrow so that I can go to vote. I have never not voted, starting with one of my first ones when polling day was the day when we were moving house. My husband couldn’t believe that in the middle of getting everything packed up I did a sudden dash to the polling station. He didn’t vote so when much later our desired candidate lost I was able to put the blame on him.
Voting for me is essential as well as a privilege. Women went to prison in order to obtain our inclusion into the political scene. So voting is a must....probably Green again.....
Green is not my favourite colour. Having to wear bottle green gym slips at the grammar school was made worse somehow by the huge green knickers that completed the uniform. I haven’t bought anything in that colour since...but I have voted green. And will do again tomorrow. Probably.
Having an election just before Christmas is a dreadful idea...we all have other things to do just now and that’s probably what Boris is counting on. The weather in December is seldom balmy like it is in May.
If it’s a nuisance to me it won’t stop me from voting but it might stop busy mums and dads getting ready for Christmas.
I just had to stop to listen to one of my heroes on the radio...Aron Sorkin, the writer of The West Wing...talking about elections and Trump!
And still the rain batters on my window....oh dear!

Jean, in your constituency a vote for the Green party risks the Tories getting in.
To keep BoJo the BoZo out the only logical vote where you live is Labour even if you dont like Corbyn.
At least you will be voting.

Sticking to your guns. We vote green and have done so for years. I hope that you are able to brave the rain and wind and get out to vote.
