Royal Row?

I am not sure what to make of the current situation in the Royal Family. I’ve never been interested in the family. In my youth as a socialist I went out of my way to avoid Royal events. On Coronation Day for intance I went to the Old Trafford to watch a cricket match rather than stay at home watching the television. It wasn’t that I was a keen cricket fan I just didn’t want to spend a day of royal watching. . For years I did not join in the singing of the National Anthem at key moments. I just refused to join in with what I thought of as an unnecessary celebration of the monarchy. As I grew up I relinquished such notions in favour of mild interest in what the royals were getting up to. This interest is not mild any more as I watch what is going on with Prince Harry and his wife. Meghan looks like a young woman who likes her own way. As do we all of course but all the reports coming our way just now make me wonder what her real motives might be. She clearly enjoys the press attention but has tried to block it to some degree. Several unkind thoughts have occurred as I try not to compare the way the royal brothers conduct themselves. Or their wives... Trying to decamp to Canada does not look a reasonable idea...and what the Queen makes of it all does not bear thinking about. As a non royal enthusiast I just hope that someone will sort it all out soon. And I do feel sorry for Harry who stands in the uncomfortable place between his wife and his mother . This must have happened before I know but not in such a high profile family. I just want them all to be happy. This seems unlikely right now. . ....
