Catching?
Listening to the news on the radio this morning I have started to wonder if I’ve got what ever is spreading through the country. This does not look like any sort of flu but after a week of being poorly and taking my tablets I am still bright scarlet and feeling unwell. I was yet again up during the night trying hard to get comfortable enough to sleep. What I’ve got doesn’t look like flu....I’m not sneezing or coughing.. I am bright scarlet still and itching..and it’s the itching that is the worst...I have to be very stern with myself not to rub the worst bits.. but this isn’t flue. So far I am telling everyone not to come to see me...not because it’s catching but because I look absolutely dreadful! So....ok I really do look appalling. I feel pretty bad much of the time and yesterday I decided that I really should go to the doctors this morning...but now I suspect it would be a bad thing to do..just in case this is catching..There is one thing wrong with this line of thought..I didn’t get it by meeting anyone else with the same symptoms..if I did catch it I don’t know who gave it to me. So on I go....taking the tablets...using the ointment..and trying not to scratch...I have enough food...mostly because I’m not eating much so I don’t need to go out and meet anyone. Stay home and take the tablets I am telling myself sternly. OK. I can do this...I think!

My prayers, and those of St Anthony, with you. My family are prone to eczema and I know how awful relentless itching can be.
May the Lord hear us x
Thank you so much.
Ring the surgery to explain and ask for an appointment.
