My Position.

I had a very welcome phone call yesyerday. My friend Janet is my oldest friend going back over forty years. We dont see much of each other these days but we chat regularly and she reads my blog. Yesterday she passed me over to her husband. He is a soliciter. He gave me some very useful and much needed advice about my present situation. I now know exactly what I am able to do by law! And I will follow his suggestions with some relief. So I will not be paying for all the work as is my right. Ive been out to look at it all again this morning. ...Its quiet out there just now with the resident cock crowing as I walked in the sunshine. It was almost possible to feel happy again! At my age some quiet reflection will be very welcome but tomorrow the men will arrive to start the work again.... the banging and clanging went on all day most days last week! So I have got my earplugs out! And if my words fall on stony ground...so be it.... being made aware of my postion in law has been a great help!
