Age as an excuse!
I got up late! This is a luxury...and I am enjoying the feeling of not having to rush around. I am instead checking on various things that I sent for last week. They arrived safely and I put them away promptly. So now I cant find them! Where ever they are they are safe! They will turn up I know but I am cross with myself for forgetting where I put them. My memory is not what it was! But then neither am I! I shall have to start writing down the important stuff. Its very annoying but its part of old age I suppose...I forget things! Everything turns up eventually..hopefully...Now looking around I find stuff put into odd places quite frequently..I have a bottle of gin standing next to some ointment on the drawers opposite me! Better not get those two mixed up! Old age is a nuisance but it gives me excuses when I fail to find something! " I am getting old. " I tell myself...And I am....so thats all right then! So now I have to find the stuff Ive put somewhere much too safe!

I have to keep note pad and not move it, just write down, got new ----
and put it ---- , then just look at your pad to find it if you have
already forgotten where you put it. I am your age and forgetting
things, is all part of that getting old stage of life. It is just like
your pass words, just get a little pad and put it where you need it, but just do not move it, so you will always know where to go for it.
We just have to try and help ourselves in old age, difficult I do
realise, but we can do it. Good luck. I do send you my best wishes on this one.

My family always ask me whether I’ve checked the deep freeze when I tell them I have mislaid something!
Car keys have been dropped in there more than once!! 🤣
